About

Completed in 2014, this secluded bungalow in Mosman has been brought into the 21 st century in a manner sensitive to its surroundings.

Our clients on this project were keen to avoid the modern boxy style of architecture so common today. Working heavily in conjunction with the architect, they were able to realise their dream to a very high standard. What started as a 3 bedroom bungalow is now a 5 bedroom home with 4 bathrooms, an attic converted office with a bathroom and large balcony, a tiled and heated pool with a concealed cover and a carefully placed elevator that services all levels. Included in the bedrooms is a subterranean Master retreat with a curved glass corner window. The project also involved stone cladding to the lower ground level, Recycled hardwood timber flooring and decking, recycled herringbone brick paving, fully ducted air conditioning, heating floors and fully landscaped gardens.

Despite the difficult challenges faced during the demolition involving holding up of major parts of the existing structure to allow for the excavation below, the clients were extremely happy with the outcome.
