About

Personally project managed by Matthew, this project involved large alterations and additions to an existing grand residence. A classical original federation renovation married into a modern rear extension. The new subterranean four car garage with polished concrete floors required a large scale quarrying operation so as to re-use all sandstone removed . Structural elements within the design and huge steel framed bi-folding doors gave this property a very open and flowing feeling with a new designer pool and full landscaping. The interiors included 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, living room, dining room, pool room and sitting room. The existing roof structure was so large that two levels were constructed during the attic conversion. With extremely detailed timber work, a new Whelsh slate and copper roof the property remains a predominant house of Vaucluse.
