About

Winning the Master Builders Award in 2012 for roof & attic conversions $200,000 and over, occupying an amazing position on the waterfront at Woolwich this heritage listed property under went an expansive alteration and addition that required much careful thought and design. Once again this project consisted of major works both above and below the original structure on a steeply sloping site. The new basement level consisted of major underpinning works, steel frame windows & doors, sandstone walls and polished concrete floors. The new curved dormer roof to the attic conversion has been meticulously finished with a traditional lead roof. The turned timber staircase leading to the attic was also matched to the existing grand staircase. A pool was created on the site at close proximity to the waters edge along with soft and hard landscaping. The finished residence also includes a full radiant heating system throughout the house heating rooms, floors and towel rails. With careful attention to heritage detail all areas of the job have been re-created to match the original detail.
